cPanel two factor authentication, also known as two step authentication, provide an extra protection to your web hosting account access. In additional to your regular user login and password, you would also need to enter a time-based token code before you can login. The code changes every 60 seconds. Our authentication service is backed by Google two factor authentication engine and you register a mobile app such as Authy or Google Authenticator in order to get the time-based token.

To start, login to your cPanel and click on two step auth icon, it looks like the QR code box.



Scan the QR code with your mobile app and give it a name, then click on Enable.



Copy down all the one-time code somewhere safe so you can recover your access later, or contact us. Next time you login, you will be prompted with the two factor code.
